Turkey Victims
Sarah Palin created a stir with this interview at a turkey slaughterhouse, where the turkeys are being slaughtered right behind her and her coffee cup. Why was she there? To pardon one turkey, a tradition usually carried out by the president. As presumptuous as ever.
I suppose I am incredibly naive, but it seems the height of cruelty to slaughter the turkeys right in front of their peers. In this video, you can hear the anxiety and fear in the voices of the turkeys — they’re no fools, they know what’s what.
